Big ambitions. Multiple experiences. One destination.
For SiGMA Asia 2024, the brief called for an ambitious double-deck environment combining premium meeting spaces, product demonstrations, hospitality and high-impact brand content. Private and semi-private meeting areas sat alongside a staffed bar, large-scale AV and a spin-to-win activation designed to generate energy and footfall on the show floor. Returning to Manila in 2025, the requirement shifted to a dedicated branded hospitality space, with semi-private meeting areas and a bespoke bar creating a more relaxed environment for conversation and connection.
The challenge
Delivering at scale in a new market
Manila represented a new market for Formation, requiring careful coordination with local contractors across significant time-zone differences. The 2024 stand also demanded a lot from the available footprint, balancing visitor engagement, demonstrations, hospitality and private conversations across two levels. A year later, the challenge was speed: Formation had just four weeks to develop and deliver the 2025 hospitality space, completing the pre-build within days of sign-off and providing on-the-ground support through installation.

The outcome
A successful debut that opened the door to more
The first Manila project established both a distinctive creative direction and a strong working relationship between the teams. Its success led to further collaborations across subsequent events, including a return to SiGMA Asia the following year. Across both projects, Formation demonstrated the ability to combine creative ambition with reliable international delivery — whether working on a complex double-deck build or responding to a brief with just weeks to spare.
